I had submitted previously requests regarding a grinding sound coming from the compressor region of my refrigerator. The ... 2nd to last time the work order was marked completed. Clearly, it was not. However, I was pleasantly surprised that the work order I submitted yesterday was addressed today! Chris was on the scene & took a diagnostic approach. He pulled out the fridge & shop-vacc'd out all the dust & debris. As soon as he pushed the fridge back into the place, he heard the GRINDING NOISE! He knew exactly what it was & it wasn't good. While the entire staff is awesome, very polite, empathetic, and always greets tenants courteously and with a smile, I want ... to give a special shout-out to Chris, the maintenance guy. When he comes to do repairs of any kind, he's very courteous and polite. Chris explains everything he's doing as he goes, saying he just wants to keep me in the loop. I really appreciate that. Mueller flats is great! Not to far from downtown area & also has many local places you can visit in the area. What I like ... most about the staff is Shelby she was there on a Saturday to give me my keys & an overview of the property, she welcomed me with a gift bag & it made me feel at home. I wanted to give a shout out to Leslie Jaramillo! Apartment hunting is a super stressful process but Leslie makes you feel ... right at home. She's warm and knows her stuff. While I haven't been here long I have to say that so far I'm really happy to have moved to this property. The property management ... staff is really friendly and helpful. In addition to questions, concerns, and or issues about the property they even provide you with a list of stores, restaurants, and locations in the event that you're unfamiliar with the surroundings as I am. The location is amazing with plenty of shopping, restaurants, and things to do. Its right by the highway which is surprising because of how quiet it is. Throughout the day, evening, and even weekends I've rarely had any outside noise so loud that I can hear it in my apartment. The property seems very family friendly and I've never been disturbed by anyone's pets. I love the property's tenacity in taking care of the grounds. Everyday I see the groundsman out cleaning the property, the trash never overflows, and they also send out texts and/or emails letting us know of any specific repairs that may impact us or reminders for everyone to clean up after their pets. Moving from Chicago I utilized Austin Craft Realty, (shout out to Josh Giffin), and out of all the great properties he showed me, Mueller Flats best suited my needs. The floor plan is great! It's nice and roomy, the appliances seem fairly new, and the premises have been well kept. The move in special at the time was awesome but even without it the going rate is well worth the money for what you get. I have my own vehicle but I've seen public transportation nearby and from what I've gathered so far the location is pretty central to everything. The University of Texas is right up the street and I can't wait to attend a Longhorn's game! The general area seems nice and diverse and is pretty quiet as well. The on-site gym is never over crowded and the business center is welcoming and practically always available.
